Jelley, who started out with Lyndney Town playing across 2018-2020, making appearances at Step 5, then moved to Worcester Uni, making some appearances for Evesham United Development before spending last season with Ledbury Town making 12 appearances as they ended the season in fourth.

Jelley has made appearances during pre season impressing against Worcester City and Droitwich Spa as well as more recently at Bishops Cleeve.

On signing for Dales Jelley said "I had a chat with the management team and I like the direction the club is going and I am looking forward to getting down to business and pushing forward on the pitch."

Described by his previous management team at the level as one of "the best centre backs in the league", Jelley will no doubt add to the existing squad at Dales.
